Upgrade

Nothing sexy like a bigger pay check or new toy. But rather, finished perfecting my uniform (seems to be a theme).

If you notice in the earlier pictures I had my "hard rank" (metal insignia) in my covers (hats). This was extremely annoying in my BDU cover. Since it isn't as tall as the ABU cover, the bottom metal "turtle" would dig into my forehead when I was wearing it.

So over the weekend I upgraded my covers with "soft rank."

Also, I got the two patches in the earlier picture sown on. On the left side is the MAJCOM patch which is currently AETC (Air Education and Training Command). On the right side is my unit patch which is the 14th Flight Training Wing.
